FOR ALL INFORMATION CONTACT: Matthew Dobies, 443-861-2809 This is a Market Survey to locate sources of supply for the following spare part that the Government proposes to acquire through a 1-5 year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract. The spare part is listed by item description and National Stock Number: Cooler, Cryogenic NSN: 5855014467218 Detailed technical data for the manufacture of these parts are not available from the US Army. To be technically acceptable this part must conform to the following required military specifications: PRF-A3165823B Performance Specification for Long Life Cooler, Cyrogenic, One Watt Linear MIL-PRF-5009755E Interface Control Document and Performance Specification for Standard Advanced Dewar Assembly Type II (SADA II) Per these specifications, the Part must be compatible with the 2nd Gen FLIR HTI Block 1 Detector/Cooler Bench Assembly, NSN: 5855015386686 ; P/N: A3271807-2 (CAGE: 80063) Suppliers capable of manufacturing this part must so indicate by writing to: C-E LCMC IEW/S Directorate, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-IEW-N-TI (Matthew Dobies) Building 6006, Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD 21005 or matthew.n.dobies.civ@mail.mil. The contractor will be required to produce the spare parts, conduct acceptance tests in accordance with industry standards, and satisfy the Government's substantial delivery requirements. Responses to this survey must include documentation citing the contractor's experience, and demonstrating the capability to meet the Government's requirements in manufacturing products that meet all performance requirements, and that are physically and functionally interchangeable with presently fielded equipment. Requests for additional information must be received no later than 25 July 2014. The contractor shall cite the quality standard (either Government or Industry) that shall be in place for this effort. The contractor shall submit their part numbers, NSN, or nomenclature and the date of the last manufacturing effort of the same or similar items for which they have production experience. Government contract numbers, if applicable, shall be provided. The contractor must provide information to show that it possesses, or shall possess, adequate production plant facilities (equipment, tooling, and space) to enable it, or its subcontractors, to meet cited production delivery requirements for these items. Responses are requested to answer the following additional questions. As a potential supplier of this item your answers to these questions and your recommendations concerning the item will enhance and speed the solicitation process. Note that this is not a Solicitation or Request for Quote/Proposal. This information is requested for a pending Solicitation or Request for Quote/Proposal: (1) Indicate if you would be the manufacturer or a dealer/distributer for this item. (2) Indicate if you are a large or small business under NAICS code 334511 (750 Employees).
