- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY FOR THE PURPOSES OF CONDUCTING MARKET RESEARCH. This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. The Mission Installation Contracting Command at Fort Gordon is conducting market research to determine the existence of companies that can provide the following: The requirement is for Video Wall UFR DPTMS items (brand name or equal) installed into existing Activu Display Server: Mitsubishi 50 quote mark SXGA + Display Cube LED Front Access 70 series (14x); Option Input Board: DVI, 70 Series 2xDVI (14x); 70 Series Motorized Adjustment Tool MAT (2x); Base Unit for 50 quote mark Cube 1 per vertical stack, custom height (7x); Acoustic Panels, front, for 50 quote mark Cube, 36 quote mark or less custom (7x); Acoustic Panels, side, for 50 quote mark cube, 36 quote mark or less custom (2x); DSP Tx & Rx Module Pair DVI to Single Fiber SC (14x); SC Fiber Only 30M (14x); Display Comm Cables DB9 Rack 1st Cube (1x); Datapath Image4 DVI Breakout Adapters (4x); Multi Tap 5V Power Supply (2x). The proposed solution will include one display wall made up of a tiled array of fourteen Mitsubishi model VS-50PEF78S SXGA (brand name or equal) LED illuminated DLP rear projection display cubes in a 2 high x 7 wide configuration connected into the existing Activu Display Server. This requirement includes incidental installation into existing Activu Display Server. The Government anticipates award of a firm fixed price contract. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334310, and the small business size standard is 750 employees. Any interested sources are requested to provide a brief capabilities statement and letter of interest to CPT Robert Turner, MICC Fort Gordon, via e-mail at robert.f.turner.mil@mail.mil. Any response to this sources sought must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. As part of your capabilities statement, please include any current or past contracts you have been awarded or the ability to obtain sufficient proof of capability for this type/magnitude of contract. In addition, you must include a statement of what socio-economic category your company qualifies as (i.e. a Small Business, SBA Certified HUB-Zone Firm, SBA Certified Small Disadvantaged Business, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Woman Owned Small Business, Veteran Owned Small Business, etc.) No solicitation will be released for competition from this announcement, and no reimbursement will be made for any cost associated with providing information in response to this announcement. No contract will be awarded on a basis of offers received in response to this notice. No solicitation document is available and telephones requests for technical information will not be honored. Any information provided is strictly voluntary. The Government will not pay for information submitted in response to this Sources Sought Notice. To be considered in this research, please provide the information above not later than 1100hrs EST on 23 July 2014.
