- This is a synopsis for a commercial acquisition using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. (Reference FAR Parts 12 and 13). THIS IS A SYNOPSIS AS REQUIRED BY FAR PART 5.2 - THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE/PROPOSAL. VENDORS SHOULD NOT SUBMIT FORMAL QUOTES/PROPOSALS UNTIL THE RFP IS POSTED TO THIS WEBSITE. This synopsis is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited. The 409th CSB, RCO Stuttgart anticipates a requirement from the Dental Clinic Stuttgart for the purchase and installation of a touchless digital IP based Intercom System for the dental and surgical rooms located in the new Dental Clinic building (bldg 2996), Panzer Kaserne at Stuttgart Germany. The goal is to provide a superior intercom system capability that will allow the Dental Clinic staff to answer or call the reception and or with at least three rooms at the same time using a manual switch. This project encompasses the following overall activities: Provide and install an integrated Intercom system in designated locations for personnel to access with (optional) manual dialing Install cabling as may be needed and integrate into existing network system Maintenance and repair of equipment for one year. Delivery and installation will be made to the Dental Clinic Stuttgart on Panzer Kaserne, Boeblingen, Germany. Anticipated delivery date will be within 60 days of award. Anticipated award date is 15 Aug 2014. This is an unrestricted full and open competitive acquisition. The government intends to make a single award to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror. Solicitation No: W91WFU-14-T-0015 will be issued as a Request for Proposal. It is advertised with a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 423450. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. Potential offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) www.sam.gov to be eligible for award to include German vendors. Payment for this acquisition will be made through the Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) System. Contractors must be registered in WAWF to include German vendors, see internet site: https://wawf.eb.mil for registration. Information concerning this solicitation will be issued electronically and posted on or about 30 Jul 2014 at www.fbo.gov. Proposals may be submitted via hard copy, or e-mail.
