NAICS Code: 221112 Estimated Quantity: 281,019,969 kWhs Destination Information: Electricity and ancillary services, for ultimate transfer to the Department of Energy-West Valley, Customs Border Protection, Knolls Atomic Power Lab, Stewart Air National Guard Base, Watervliet Arsenal, Department of Labor-Cassadaga Job Corp Center, Department of Labor-Delaware Job Corp Center, Department of Labor-Iroquois Job Corp Center, and Department of Labor-South Bronx Job Corp Center. Delivery Schedule and Duration of the Contract Period: The Government is soliciting offers for 24 months (meter read date in December 2014 through the meter read date in December 2016). This is a synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This announcement and the document constitute the only solicitation. The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) and has incorporated provisions and clauses as in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-74. Additional requirements may be added by amendment. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered. The RFP is available through FedBizOpps.gov website as "New York 2014." Contract Type: Firm Fixed Price and Requirements Type The solicitation will be made available to interested parties through: https://www.fedbizopps.gov/. For all Small Business issues, please email dla.energy.osbp@dla.mil. Question and Answer Period: The Government is providing a formal question and answer period prior to the closing of the RFP on August 25, 2014. All questions must be submitted in writing by August 12, 2014, no later than 3:00 pm EST. Questions can be sent to dlaenergy.eteam@dla.mil. The Government will provide answers to all prospective offeror(s) via a formal Amendment to the solicitation.
