The Industry Day session will follow the principles identified in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15.201, Exchanges With Industry Before Receipt of Proposals. The objective of the EADM Industry Day is to provide a better understanding of the Army's mission, objectives, constraints, and technical environment so that prospective offerors and their team members may determine whether they are able to satisfy the Army's requirements. Industry Day will begin with briefings by the Director of Operations, the prospective Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), and various Government technical leads. A question and answer (Q&A) session will follow the briefings. The questions posed during the Q&A session should not be related to the Source Selection Team or their roles and responsibilities. The Government assumes no responsibility for any representation made by any of its officers of agents during the session. Questions received and Government responses furnished during the session are unofficial. Government representatives have been instructed to answer to the best of their ability and knowledge. The Government will not be recording the session. However, the Government will be taking notes to assure that any questions requiring official answers have been properly documented. The requirements and strategy, as stated during the Industry Day session, are all subject to change as the acquisition evolves; therefore, the vendors shall rely on the Final RFP. Note: EADM was previously procured using the General Services Administration (GSA) Veterans Technology Services (VETS) Governmentwide Acquisition Contract (GWAC); however, all vendors are welcomed to participate in the Industry Day session as the vehicle to procure the follow-on EADM service has yet to be determined.
