- ** This is an amendment to Solicitation Number P14PS01557 to update the quantity to 1656 tons. The bid due date is now Monday, 28 July 2014, 1700h ET. ** This is a solicitation, not a presolicitation. Due to a system glitch, it appears as a Presolicitation in Federal Business Opportunities. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial supplies prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6, and as supplemented with additional information included in this solicitation. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation document, and the incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-54, The FAC is available at https://www.acquisition.gov/FAR. For the sake of easy reading, we will refer to the National Park Service as Us, We or Park Service, and interested bidders as You / Your. WHAT WE NEED: This request for quotes is for aggregate base, gray color, unscreened, no more than inch, class 2, provide and deliver, to Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument in southern Arizona, near Ajo, in Pima County. The monument is west of Tucson, and southwest of Phoenix. For more information about Organ Pipe Cactus NM, please visit www.NPS.gov/ORPI. SET-ASIDE: This procurement is 100% set-aside for small businesses under all applicable NAICS codes & series, including but not limited to 212*** and 327992. Your System for Award Management (SAM, www.SAM.gov) record should be current, and indicate that the business you are representing is considered a small business. PAYMENT: The vendor to which this contract is awarded must also be registered in, and submit invoices through, the Invoice Processing Platform (www.IPP.gov). NPS will release payment once we verify that the end user has received the AB as ordered. PRICING & FORMAT: Please provide the price as PER TON, with no definite quantity. You may submit the bid on the attached Standard Form 1449, or using your own form. You may also submit more than one quote with alternative suggestions. Ensure that each quote provides contact information and your DUNS number. We will evaluate each quote on its own. All quotes must be valid for at least 30 days. AWARD TYPE: The Park Service will award this project as a firm-fixed price supply purchase order, on or around 30 July 2014, based on the lowest price technically acceptable. We will not alter the contract to make up for exclusions or errors in your quote. The estimated delivery date is 30 days ARO.
