- This notice serves as official notification of the Computer and Applications Services Division Industry Day session. DATE: 29 July 2014 Time: 8:00 a.m. EDT to 1:00 p.m. EDT Location: 200 Stovall Street, Hoffman II, Alexandria, Virginia 20302 Interested vendors planning to attend shall RSVP via email to Steve Szalo at steven.a.szalo.civ@mail.mil no later than 10:00 a.m. EDT Thursday 24 July 2014. Vendors may bring up to three (3) representatives. ALL VARs must be submitted no later than 10:00 a.m. EDT Thursday, 24 July 2014. RSVP email should include: -Names and Titles of attendees -Company Name -Phone Number -Email address Please reference the following documents, attached to this notice (note all documents are in draft state and subject to change): 1. ITA Visitor Authorization Request (VAR) NOTE REFERENCE 4.b(6) instructions on the attached ITA VAR document should read: (6) Purpose of the visit: To attend the ITA CASD Industry Day, 200 Stovall Street, Room 7N15, Alexandria, VA 22314; on 29 July 14 from 8:00AM - 1:00PM EST. 2. Performance Work Statement (PWS) 3. Sections L&M The Government appreciates your interest in the Computer and Applications Services Division Industry Day. This Industry Day session will follow the principles identified in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15.201, quote mark Exchanges With Industry Before Receipt of Proposals. quote mark The objective of Computer and Applications Services Division Industry Day is to provide a better understanding of the Army's mission, objectives, constraints, and technical environment so that prospective offerors and their team members may determine whether they are able to satisfy the Army's requirements. Industry Day will begin with briefings by the Director of Operations, the prospective Contracting Officer's Representative(COR)and various Government Technical Leads. A question and answer (Q&A) session will follow the briefings. The questions posed during the Q&A should not be related to the Source Selection Team, their roles, or responsibilities. Note: Advance questions are not permitted. Only questions presented at Industry Day or within the specified timeframe following Industry Day shall be answered. The Government assumes no responsibility for any representation made by any of its officers or agents during the session. Questions received and Government responses furnished during the session are unofficial. Government representatives have been instructed to answer to the best of their ability and knowledge. The Government will not be recording the session. However, the Government will be taking notes to assure that any questions requiring quote mark official quote mark answers have been properly documented. The requirements and strategy as stated during this session are all subject to change as the acquisition evolves; therefore the vendors shall rely on the Final RFP. The Government looks forward to meeting with you and assisting you as you develop unique solutions to our important challenges. Vendors should be aware of the following: - Participants and Guests must arrive at the front desk NLT 7:45 AM EDT to be escorted to the appropriate location. - The Government will not reimburse vendor representatives for any costs incurred to attend the Computer and Applications Services Industry Day. - No photo or audio recording will be permitted. - Cell phones and pagers shall be turned OFF while in the Industry Day room, or preferably left outside the event. - Please do not leave the group for any reason or engage in conversations with other site personnel during the site visit. - Anyone not complying with these guidelines may be escorted out of the facility. - Notify one of the escort POCs if you need to leave the building prior to the end of the site visit. - If you think you left something during the site visit such as a cell phone, BlackBerry, Laptop, etc., then notify the Contracting Officer immediately. - Company material or capability briefs will not be accepted. - Please do no exchange company information during the site visit. -Any related notices will be posted on the FedBizOpps website under solicitation W52P1J-14-R-CASD.
