- This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Synopsis (market survey). This is not a request for quote (RFQ) or a request for proposal (RFP). This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. The Government will not pay for any cost incurred in responding to this announcement. Any information submitted by respondents to this Sources Sought synopsis shall be voluntary. This Sources Sought Notice is for Market Research purposes only. The information submitted in response to the Sources Sought Notice will not be utilized to determine vendor standing in any future/potential Request for Quote/Request for Proposal, nor will it be utilized to determine if a vendor is qualified to submit a Request for Quote/Request for Proposal for any future/potential requirement. The notice and the information received shall not be used to determine how well respondents can perform a requirement, which can only be evaluated in response to a solicitation. Vendors will not receive formal notification or feedback on any information submitted in this Sources Sought request. All future/proposed submissions/solicitations requirements solicited on a Government Point of Entry will be evaluated independent of any information submitted in response to this Sources Sought Notice. No vendor will be provided information on solicitations issued on a Government Point of Entry based on this Sources Sought request. This Sources Sought Notice is relative to the NAICS code 334220. The Small Business size standard for this NAICS code is 750. Large and Small Businesses are invited to answer this market survey to determine market capabilities. Hurlburt Field, FL, is conducting market research to determine the existence of potential sources to provide a nRapid Tactical Operations Center, a Rapid Tactical Operations Center, Video Display Unit's, Tables and Chairs. The potential requirement will consist of the contractor providing: •1. nano Rapid Tactical Operations Center (nRTOC). Quantity: 8 Each. •a. Item number: nRTOC60 F-R. Rapid setup/strike, single display projection system consisting of a lightweight, aluminum frameset, 60in. diagonal screen and one 1024x768 (XGA) DLP projector. System features both rear, below screen and front, overhead projection. Includes 25 ft. VGA cable and spare bulb. All components pack inside our smallest, rugged aluminum case. •2. System Rapid Tactical Operations Center (RTOC). Quantity: 8 Each. •a. Item number: RTOC2720. Rapid setup/strike, dual projection system consisting of lightweight, aluminum frameset, 9.6 ft. x 3.6 ft. screen (two 72 in. diagonal viewing areas) and two 1024x768 (XGA) DLP projectors. System utilizes front, overhead projection. Includes two 50 ft. VGA cables and spare bulbs. All components erect upon and pack inside a single, rugged, aluminum case. •3. Video Distribution Unit (VDU). Quantity: 8 Each. •a. Item number: E0704E1A-007. Video/Audio switching system supporting five (5) HD-15 VGA, one (1) composite and one (1) HDMI input and four (4) HD-15 VGA outputs. System features one (1) multi-image processorcapable of displaying up to four separate video/image sources through a single projector or TV/monitor. Each of these image windows can be resized, moved and named. Audio system supports two (2) XLR microphone and one (1) line level inputs and two (2) line level outputs. VDU system operates off 120 VAC and all components are plugged into an uninterrupted power source (UPS) to protect valuable electronics. The VDU system is controlled by a touch-panel display or by a browser-based Graphical User Interface (GUI). All components are mounted inside a rugged, weather-resistant, shock-mitigating case. •4. Standard Tactical Table. Quantity: 32 Each. •a. Item number: ST6-2N-GB. 6 ft. in length, rugged, light weight aluminum, integrated 120 VAC power, two TCP/IP switched data networks (8-port 10/100/1000, unmanaged), VGA-based video distribution network. •5. Integrated System Table Arrangement. Quantity: 8 Each. •a. Item number: C2-STD-GB. (2) 5 ft. tables and (1) corner table, lightweight aluminum, integrated 120 VAC power, two TCP/IP switched data networks (8-port 10/100/1000, PoE), VGA based video distribution network, (5) Aluminum Folding chairs and external cable kits, power cord and fit inside two 5 ft Aluminum Rigid Storage cases. •6. Standard Table Bag. Quantity: 16 Each. •a. Item number: SBAG6. 6 ft. in length. Holds two Tactical Tables. •7. Chair. Quantity: 32 Each. •a. Item number: Chair. Folding, padded seats. •8. Shipping and Handling. Quantity: 1 Each. NOTE : Please submit electronic response indicating capability to supply the aforementioned item(s) via line card or published description (no more than 3 pages) as well as POC (name, telephone # and email address) along with contractor's CAGE, DUNS, and the physical location of your facility to the individuals listed within this notice. All work shall be performed at the contractor's facility. This request may not directly lead to a Request for Quotation/Proposal. Deadline for submission is 1:00 p.m. CST, 31 July 2014. Required Information: Any interested party who can offer all of the above may submit a written reply of not more than 3 pages, addressing each of the above items and defining how their location is capable of ALL of the minimum requirements listed above.
