- The purpose of this acquisition is to procure Information Technology (IT) services to support the mission of the U.S. Department of State Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs Office of Aviation (INL/A). INL/A requires the full range of IT services in order to develop and deliver new products, support high employee productivity, develop and maintain new IT systems, and design, deploy, secure and maintain the underlying infrastructure for aforementioned activities: • Enterprise architecture support • Capital planning support • IT project management support • IT security support • Configuration and change management support • End-User Support Services (EUSS) • Infrastructure Management • Systems administration (hardware, software both Government-Off-The-Shelf (GOTS), Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS), for end-user equipment, local area network, wide area network, hosting servers, database systems administration) • Data center management (primary and alternate locations) • IT asset procurement and management • Maintenance of GOTS, COTS and in-house applications, to include reconfiguration and minor changes arising from environment or program changes • System development projects (formulating, planning, and implementing integrated solutions of hardware, software, databases, procedures, documentation and training) • Program and Portfolio Management support INL/A requires contractor support services to aid the organization in providing Information Technology and Information Assurance efforts. Support Services under this contract will cover the period from date of award to the end of contract performance. Provide project management, project oversight and technical services for system problem resolution, system upgrades, system monitoring, operating system patches, system security management, system administration support, firewall maintenance, information assurance, desktop support and configuration management efforts as described in Section 2.C, Performance Requirements. INL/A has a requirement for a contractor to provide daily IT operations. More specifically, the services will be to provide Service Desk, Desk Side Services, System Administration and Telecommunications Services. Contractor support is required to ensure that all IT equipment, to include network servers/hardware, workstations, printers, portable computers, network infrastructure (cabling), and other miscellaneous IT equipment are functioning at all times to support mission requirements. In addition to IT operations, the contractor will need to provide Information Assurance (IA) operational support, policy, and strategic planning and for all INL/A, which currently encompasses Patrick AFB, FL and seven (7) satellite activities/ remote locations. CONFERENCE OBJECTIVE: INL/A intends to ensure that potential offerors have complete understanding of INL/A requirements and that each SOR expresses the requirements in adequate detail, while clearly reflecting INL/A priorities. To that end, INL/A staff will conduct a day-long discussion with attendees to cover the draft SORs. Attendees should be prepared to discuss the SOR items with INL/A staff and other industry representatives in an open group forum. A draft version of each SOR will be posted prior to the conference for review. CONFERENCE REGISTRATION Pre-registration is required.
