Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Orlando VA Medical Center Orlando Fl, 32825, VISN 8 contracting activity intends to negotiate a sole source contract to Engineering & Computer Simulations, Inc., 11825 High Tech Ave, Orlando FL 32817 with the NAICS code of 611430. The requirement is for the continued development and implementation of the Hospital Simulation Training Program for the Orlando VA Medical Center that will enable the identification, development, dissemination and implementation of processes to support VAMC Orlando's delivery of quality patient care. Authority - FAR Part 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(B), 10 U.S.C. 2304(d)(1)(B) and 41 U.S.C 253(d)(1)(B). Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, if you have informational brochures regarding this service, you may send them to Ms. Marie Smith Marie.smith4@va.gov. No telephonic requests will be returned. All responses will be received no later than 28 July 2014 at 8:00 AM EST.
