Description
Proposals are being requested and this solicitation DTFAEN-14-R-00083 is being issued as a Request for Offer (RFO). FAA has a requirement for the RAISED FLOORING SYSTEM REPAIR AND REPLACEMENT, at the Atlanta Air Route Traffic Control Centers (ARTCC) in Hampton, Georgia. Performance time for the entire project is 180 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed (NTP). If downloading is not possible, all requests for copies of the document(s) must be made in writing to the attention of Karina Espinosa, Contract Specialist, via e-mail at karina.espinosa@faa.gov The Primary NAICS code is 238330, Flooring Contractors Size Standards in Millions “ $14 Million This requirement is offered to all qualified, responsive small business concerns using the procedure outlined in section M of the solicitation SITE VISIT Site visits must be arranged during normal duty hours by contacting Vincent Williams at vincent.l.williams@faa.gov no later than July 29, 2014 at 2 PM EST. The site visit is scheduled for July 30, 2014 at 10:00 AM EST. SITE VISIT ATTENDANCE IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. All Requests for Information (RFI) must be emailed to the Contracting Officer (karina.espinosa@faa.gov) no later than Tuesday, August 8, 2014, at 3:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST) Potential offerors should note that the FAA reserves the right to communicate with one or more offerors at any time during the SIR process To be considered for award of this project, the contractor must be currently registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database (website: www.sam.gov). All proposals must be received no later than August 18, 2014, 3:00 PM EST. Any responses received after the closing date and time, will not be considered in accordance with AMS provision 3.2.2.3-14, Late Submissions, Modifications, and Withdrawals of Submittals. Overnight delivery of responses to this RFP may also be impacted if not sent in sufficient time to allow for the special mail-handling procedures in place at the Southern Region Office. This RFP is not to be construed as a contract or a commitment of any kind. The Government shall not be liable for payment of any costs attributed to the preparation and submission of requested proposal documentation. Magnitude of Construction Projects: The estimated construction price if between $125,000 and $200,000. NOTICE for informational purposes for Minority, Women-owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
