- COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION PLEASE READ THIS NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE ISSUED Synopsis: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the Federal Business Opportunities website to ensure that they have the most up to date information about this acquisition. The solicitation number AG-7442-S-14-0022 is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) and is being conducted as a 100% small business set aside. The North American Classification System Code is 336212; the size standard is 500 employees. This RFQ incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-74. This requirement will be awarded as a commercial item, fixed price purchase order under the procedures at FAR Parts 12 and 13. Description: The USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service has a Brand Name or Equal requirement for 2 each LOADTRAIL 102 inch wide by 26 foot long gooseneck tilt trailer with jack spring loaded drop leg 2-10k hyd., spare tire mount, 4 foot stationary front and solar charger or equal. Below are the minimum specifications to be determined an acceptable equal. 1. Must have GVWR of 14,000 lbs. 2. Must be gooseneck tilt trailer 26 foot long and 102 inches wide with stationary 4 foot at front. 3. Must have maximum trailer weight of 7,550 lbs. 4. Must have a minimum of 2 year warranty. 5. Must meet all DOT requirements. One trailer will be shipped to Nacogdoches, TX 75964 and the other trailer will be shipped to Knox City, TX 79529. Please include freight cost in your quote or state that freight is included in the total amount of your quote. The offeror shall provide the NRCS with a Firm Fixed Price quote that is in accordance with this solicitation.
