Description
The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform smoke analyzer maintenance services at Boiler Plant, Building # 206, at Caserma Ederle, Vicenza, Italy. The contract will require the inspection and maintenance of analyzers, unscheduled maintenance and repair, including spare parts to be replaced during scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. The scheduled maintenance, required every 2 months (6 services a year) will be done on the following equipment: Combustion Recording Unit AN750-4C; Combustion smoke analyzers AN510CNS; Smoke washing treatment tank unit BL010; Zirconium oxide feelers TS236; Smoke temperature feeler TS345; Room/Comburent temperature feeler TS346; Operational Software SW750RC and will consist in checking the effectiveness of the functioning of the following equipment: smoke probes; filters and replacement of activated carbon; coalescence cartridge; flow meter; software system and updating as needed. It will include the cleaning of samples collecting tubing and perform general survey of equipment. Also, the contractor will verify the calibration of CO probe sensor, the calibration gas sensor in the combustion chamber, the transmitter functions, four (4) each oxygen probes and replace as needed and verify and clean the following: oxygen probe; oxygen filter. The unscheduled maintenance for the above mentioned tasks might be requested by the US Government up to one (1) unscheduled repair service in case of equipment failure. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: The Government contemplates to establish a firm fixed price contract for one (1) base year and two (2) option years. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 238220. SOLICITATION PACKAGE: The complete Request for Quotation (RFQ) package will be provided to all interested parties at a later date. METHOD OF CONTRACTING AND AWARD: The method of contracting will be Request for Quotation (RFQ), lowest price only. Award will be made to a single offeror on the basis of the lowest evaluated price of quote meeting the Government requirement. The Government intends to evaluate quotes and award a contract without discussion with offerors. Therefore, the offeror's initial quote should contain the offeror's best terms from a price standpoint. The Government reserves the right to conduct discussions if the Contracting officer later determines them to be necessary. TYPE OF CONTRACT: The resulting contract will be a Firm Fixed Price. METHOD OF PARTICIPATION: All firms interested in participating will have to express their interest in writing quoting W912PF-14-T-0070 mark, addressing only 1 email message, to Mr. Schiavon and Ms. Cappello to the following addresses: roberto.schiavon.ln.asc@mail.mil and sebastiana.cappello.ln.asc@mail.mil no later than 03.00 PM C.E.T. 24 July 2014. Replies received after the above mentioned date/time will not be considered.
