- Description
- This project consists of reconstruction of the Canyon Rim Deck Structure. All existing structural wood timbers, columns, decking, fascia, steps, and benches are to be demolished and disposed of. New structural timbers, columns, pressure treated decking, fascia, benches, steel plates, new connections, and bolts are to be provided as shown in the drawings and specifications. All existing steel brackets and bolts are to be save, sand-blasted, powder coated, re-painted and re-used where shown in the drawings and specifications. Existing Sign Placard is to be detached, stored for future use, and re-installed. Existing railing and metal panels are to be detached, stored for future installation, re-installed and repainted. Wood benches are to be replaced as shown in the drawings and specifications. A rock wall, bench, and railing shall also be constructed on the path leading to the Deck. The project is located north on Highway 191 out of Vernal to the intersection of 191 and SR44. Head west on SR44 to the Red Canyon turnoff FSR095. Head north on FSR095 to the Canyon Rim Campground turnoff. The project is located just north of the Canyon Rim Campground. Overall, it is located approximately 40 miles north of Vernal, UT, and approximately 72 miles south of Green River, WY. This is a Small Business Set-Aside. The magnitude price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. NAICS Code is 238190. Solicitation will be available for download from FEdBizOpps website at http://www.fbo.gov on or about August 7, 2014. The site visit/pre-bid meeting is scheduled for August 14, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. MST. Contract time for this project is 90 calendar days, with desired start date in September 2014.
