Questions not received within a reasonable time prior to close of the solicitation may not be considered.*** For this solicitation, National Guard - Michigan intends to conduct an online competitive reverse auction to be facilitated by the third-party reverse auction provider, FedBid, Inc. FedBid has developed an online, anonymous, browser based application to conduct the reverse auction. An Offeror may submit a series of pricing bids, which descend in price during the specified period of time for the aforementioned reverse auction. Failure to do so will not relieve bidders/offerors from the responsibility for estimating properly the difficulty or cost of successfully performing the work. The government will assume no responsibility for any understanding or representation concerning conditions made by any of its officers or agents prior to the execution of the contract, unless included in the invitation for bids or related documents. Ref: FAR 52.237-1 Site Visit Offerors are requested to submit questions no later than, 4:00 P.M. EST, 24 July 2014,(Thurday). Place of Perfomance must be within a 30 mile radius of Selfridge Air National Guard Base, Michigan. In order for vehicles to be delivered and picked-up from repair/service facility. ALl other Bids will be considered if seller is willing to pick-up and deliver vehicles by way of trailer to the repair facility and return to Selfridge Air National Guard Base, Michigan at no additional cost to the Government.
