Description

This Request for Quote (RFQ) is limited to businesses within the Alexandria, LA metropolitan geographical area. No quotes from firms outside of this area will be considered. This requirement is for Tag # G32-0159A, VIN # 1BABNBXA09F263033, 2009 Cummins ISC 8.3L Engine. The engine serial # is 46937090. The requirement is to remove and install a Cummins 8.3L long block engine. Quote must include both parts and labor for the "Long Block Swap and/or Exchange" using certified New & Remanufactured parts by Cummins. NO "gray market" parts are acceptable. All equipment must be covered by the manufacturer's warranty. All items shall include standard warranty. All work and repairs shall be completed within 10 business days after award and in accordance with industry standards. Vendors shall be in compliance with all EPA and OSHA standards and requirements. MSDS and any other required documents must be on site. Vendors must be properly insured to cover any losses for GSA vehicles that are in their shop. Valid business license(s) is required in accordance with state and local guidelines. All employees of selected vendor must be paid in accordance with local Department of Labor established wages.
