Description

1. This project specifies the following work: In the main water line of the USAG Bavaria - Hohenfels there are different leakages. The repair of the water line includes extensive earth-and street construction work. Subsequent to this repair microbiological testings must be conducted to proof the inoccuousness of the drinking water. 2. The solicitation will result in a Firm Fixed Price Contract. The magnitude of the project is between $50,000 and $100,000. 3. The performance period is 120 calendar days, whereby a commencement time of 15 calendar days is included. 4. The solicitation will be issued on or about 25 July 2014 with an anticipated bid opening date of approximately 21 August 2014. The solicitation will be posted on the following website: https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi. Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted it is incumbent upon parties to review the website frequently for any updates/amendments. 5. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which will be considered by the RCO Bavaria. 6. Work will be performed in Germany and contractor must comply with German law (e.g. authorization to do business in Germany). 7. Only local sources are solicited in accordance with FAR 5.202(a)(12).
