Description
Solicitation Invitation for Bid The Contractor shall provide all engineering support, designing effort, all parts, labor, materials, tools and equipment, transportation, supervision and all operations identified in the Scope of Work (SOW) for Project No. ZNRE 15-1077, Replace Incinerator Parts B1526 at Yokota Air Base, Japan. Perform all work indicated in the SOW, Specifications and Drawings which will be included in the solicitation package. The scope of work for this project includes but is not limited to: Furnish all parts, labor, materials, tools and equipment, transportation, supervision and all operations identified in these specifications for Project Number ZNRE 15-1077, Replace Incinerator Parts B1526 at Yokota AB, Japan. •A. Overall objective: Design and repair existing incinerator. The existing parts are damaged, ability reduced, repair is difficult and replacement is required. Even if one part doesn't work, the entire incinerator cannot perform the proper function. The exact location of construction area shall be in accordance with the annual inspection report 2013 by the incinerator manufacture. B. General Description of Mechanical Work with Design: 1. Replace existing No.1 and No. 2 bag filter with new. 2. Replace existing No.1 and No. 2 feeder step and rail with new. 3. Replace existing No.1 and No. 2 beneath grating with new. 4. Replace existing No.1 and No. 2 storker hydraulic unit with new. 5. Replace existing No.1 and No. 2 analyzer with new. 6. Replace existing No.1 and No. 2 air compressor for atomizing with new. 7. Replace existing No.1 and No. 2 air pre-heater of hot water with new. 8. Replace existing No.1 and No. 2 air compressor for bag filter pulse with new. 9. Replace existing No.1 and No. 2 fan for air pre-heater of hot water with new. 10. Replace existing No.1 and No. 2 furnace control system with new. 11. Air compressors adjustment and parts replacement. The magnitude of this project is expected between ¥103,943,900 and ¥519,719,500 in accordance with FAR 36.204, which means the Government's Cost Estimate falls in this magnitude. Selection will be based upon evaluation factors which will be stipulated on the solicitation package. For more details will be posted when determined. The site visit is scheduled on 4 Aug 14 at 1400 hours, JST. *Offirors are urged and expected to attend the site visit. If you need to attend the site visit, please make an appointment with the POC and come to the Gate 5 (Supply Gate) by 1330 hours to obtain the pass. You must bring the proper identification (valid passport or driver's lisence with 8 digits password). For the vehicle pass, please make sure you bring the proper ORIGINAL insurance docuemnts. Failure to provide the proper documentation may cause you not be able to enter the base. LOCAL SOURCES ARE THOSE SOURCES NORMALLY RESIDENT, LICENSED AND REGISTERED TO CONDUCT CONSTRUCTION BUSINESS IN JAPAN. OFFERS FROM NON-LOCAL SOURCES WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED UNDER THIS SOLICITATION.
