- Description
- The Department of the Interior, Bureau of Indian Affairs, Navajo Region Office, has a requirement for work consists of furnishing all labor, material, equipment and incidentals necessary for construction of 1.894 kilometers of grade, drainage, aggregate surface course and Roadbond EN-1 stabilized aggregate surface course, six span, steel girder with composite concrete deck bridge and miscellaneous construction in accordance with the FP-03 specifications and design drawings for Project N8008(1)1,2&3 approximately 7 miles northwest of Round Rock, AZ. The quantities listed for each Item are estimated and the Unit Price is applicable to each item as given in the Bid Schedule below. The final pay quantity measurements shall be rounded to the significant figures given in this Bid Schedule for the final pay estimate. Payment for work performed on Items furnished will be made in accordance with Sub-Section 109.05, Scope of Payments of FP-03. This acquisition is set-aside 100% for Buy Indian firms and Small Business concerns. The estimated performance period for completion of construction is 30 calendar days from Notice to Proceed (NTP). The NAICS code is 237310, with a small business size standard of $33.5 million. This will be a firm fixed price contract. In accordance with FAR 36.204, the estimated magnitude of this construction project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. Payment and Performance bonds will be required for the full amount (100%) of the awarded contract before the Notice to Proceed can be issued. The Government will evaluate the performance capability of offerors in accordance with the evaluation criteria described in the solicitation. The solicitation will include a detailed list of Evaluation Factors and will provide instructions for Proposal Requirements and the Basis for Award in Section M. The source selection process will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 15.101-2, the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) method will be utilized. A COPY OF THE SOLICITATION IS ATTACHED. Interested offerors must have an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM). Firms can register via the SAM internet web-site at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. At the time of award, if an offeror is not successfully and actively registered in the SAM database, the Government reserves the right to award to the next prospective offeror. The solicitation and associated information will be available from the FedBizOpps and FedConnect the websites arehttps://www.fbo.gov and https://www.fedconnect.net. This will normally be the two methods of distributing amendments prior to closing; therefore, it is the Offeror's responsibility to check either of these websites periodically for any amendments to the solicitation.
