Description

Contractor shall provide all materials, equipment, labor, supervision, and expertise to construct a three story Patient Care Service building to provide adequate care to the veterans the facility accommodates daily. The project will include: (1) general construction, civil, fire protection, mechanical and electrical work, selective removal of existing construction and certain other items in accordance with plans and specifications for the project that will be provided. Contract shall be completed within 420 Days following Notice to Proceed. In general, the scope includes all architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection work to complete the following: 1.Construct a 3 story Patient Care addition at the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare Center at 2200 Fort Roots Drive, North Little Rock, Arkansas : a.Selective Site Demolition. b.Cast-in-Place Concrete, Precast Architectural Concrete, Glass-Fiber-Reinforced Concrete, Masonry Mortaring, Unit masonry. c.Structural Steel Framing, Architecturally Exposed Structural Steel Framing, Steel Joist Framing, Steel Decking, Composite metal Decking, Cold-Formed Metal Framing, Metal Fabrications, Metal Stairs, Inclined Metal Ladders. d.Rough Carpentry, Flexible Flashing, Plastic Laminate-Faced Architectural Cabinet, Plastic Paneling. e.Modified Bituminous Sheet Waterproofing, Under-Slab Vapor Retarder, Roof and deck Insulation, Siding Panels, Composite Metal Building Panels, Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) Roofing, and Applied Fireproofing. f.Hollow Metal Doors and Frames, Interior Wood Doors, Coiling Doors and Grilles, aluminum-Framed Entrances and Storefronts, Glazed Aluminum Curtain Walls, Service and Teller Window Units, Louvers and Vents. g.Direct-Digital controlled HVAC and Steam systems. h.Electronic systems, low and medium-voltage, monitoring and control, switchboards, engine Generators, automatic Transfer Switches, Intergraded surge protection, interior and exterior Lighting, Voice Communication systems, Intrusion Detection system, Video Surveillance system, Fire detection and Alarm.. i.Exterior earthwork, improvements, Flexible Pavement, Concrete Pavement, Sidewalks, Curbs and Gutters, Manhole and structures, water utility distribution piping, Fire Hydrant, Sewerage Piping and Structures, Storm Drainage Utilities, landscaping and irrigation system. j.Seismic Restraint Requirements for Non-Structural Components, Radiation Protection. 2.Scope of work has no phasing involved. The dollar magnitude is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. The NAICS is 236220 applies and size standard is $33.5.0 Million. This procurement is 100% Set-Aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concerns. To be eligible for award the SDVOSB must be considered small under the relevant NAICS code and must be registered and verified in the following websites: www.ccr.gov; www.orca.bpn.gov; and www.vets100.vets.dol.gov. Those desiring to receive an award from this solicitation also must be registered at www.vetbiz.gov. Companies must have the Certified Veteran Enterprise (CVE) seal on their registration to be considered for an award. You must register as "Interested Vendor" at the Fedbizopps website for solicitation. In order to receive e-mail notification of amendments, you must register in www.Fedbizopps.gov; "To Receive Notification" for amendments. Amendments to this solicitation will not be mailed, but will be posted at the Fedbizopps website.
