- US Army Sources Sought Announcement THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS ONLY. The purpose of this sources sought notice is to gauge the level of interest and capability within the contracting community for providing roundtrip transport services for 3 different sites located at (1) Aberdeen Proving Ground, Aberdeen, MD, (2) Graces Quarters Road inside of Gunpowder Falls State Park in Middle River, MD, and (3) Aberdeen Proving Ground Edgewood Area, Edgewood, MD. All roads are regular paved roads. There is no rough terrain. This is anticipated to be a Firm-Fixed priced contract. Response to this notice is strictly voluntary and will not affect any corporation's ability to submit an offer if and when a solicitation is released. There is no bid package or solicitation document associated with this announcement; however, general market pricing may be submitted to assist in the market research. The anticipated NAICS code is 485410 (School and Employee Bus Transportation), and the FSC is V999 (Other Transportation, Travel and Relocation Services). Anticipated Scope of Activities: Scope of Work: Two different options are being considered for this requirement. (1) 24/7 service of (2) 20 passenger size vehicles. One would be travelling back and forth between Aberdeen Proving Ground and Edgewood and the other would be travelling between Aberdeen Proving Ground and Middle River, MD. (2) Service four times a day of (2) 20 passenger size vehicles. Same locations as above. This would be for pick up at APG, transport to Edgewood/Middle River, drop off, wait 1 hour for the other passengers and bring them back to APG. This approach is for four (4) times a day and approximately 2-4 hours each time. Approximate pick-up times at Aberdeen Proving Ground would be 0700, 1500, 1900, and 2300. Statement of Interest: Please respond only if your company can realistically complete the scope of work. Contractors are encouraged to submit a capabilities statement describing corporate experience in managing requirements similar in size and scope to the activities described above. This is not a request for quotation, but please provide a price range to assist in the market research for this requirement. An official request for quotation will be posted if the acquisition of this service is required following the market research. This capabilities statement should not exceed 10 pages in length and should focus on successful recent (within the past 3 years) and relevant past performance to this anticipated scope. This capabilities statement may also include relevant past performance of key personnel. Since this is a sources sought to be used in planning a future acquisition, do not send a proposal, but please send general pricing instead. The Government shall not be liable for or suffer any consequential damages for any improperly identified propriety information of the submission of the contractor's information.
