Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Palo Alto Health Care System (VAPAHCS) intends to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) to acquire services for Transformer Inspection and Testing. The Contractor shall furnish all personnel, supervision, equipment, tools, materials, certifications and resources necessary to perform inspection and testing of 44 oil filled medium voltage transformers for the VA Palo Alto Health Care Systems, Palo Alto, Menlo Park and Livermore Divisions. The NAICS code is 811310, size standard is $7.5 million. This acquisition is a 100% Small Business set-aside. The contract will be firmed fixed price. The period of performance is anticipated to be 90 days ARO. The solicitation number for this RFQ is VA261-14-R-0785. The solicitation is expected to be issued on or about August 6, 2014. All questions must be in writing and may be emailed to phyllis.charles@va.gov, after issuance of the solicitation. Offeror is responsible for downloading all documents including amendments at the website listed above, without further notification from the VA Contracting Officer.
