- THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER A SET-ASIDE TO SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES. The location of this project is Offutt Air Force Base. The purpose of this project is to replace existing pathway light fixtures and connect to emergency circuits from newly installed power panels served from the existing main switchboard. The existing facility is two floors with a combined 1,500,000 SF of floor space. The Government intends to issue a firm fixed price construction contract with a Period of Performance (POP) of 270 calendar days. Funds are not presently available; no award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs. Project magnitude is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. This announcement constitutes only the pre-solicitation notice; Bids will be requested and a solicitation will be issued on or around 11-August-2014. Bids will be due approximately 30 days after solicitation is posted. Solicitation number FA4600-14-B-0019 will be issued as an INVITATION FOR BID (IFB). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-74. All applicable provisions and clauses are included in the actual solicitation. All drawings and specifications related to the solicitation will be available on https://www.fbo.gov. If these documents cannot be posted, specific instructions to view the drawings and specifications will be a part of the solicitation package. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238210, and the small business size standard is $15,000,000.00. This solicitation is 100% set-aside to Small Business concerns. Please reference solicitation number FA4600-14-B-0019 on all correspondence. All contractors shall be System for Award Management (SAM.GOV) registered at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. Contractors must be registered in the SAM.GOV database before a contract can be awarded to your company. NO PARTIAL BIDS WILL BE CONSIDERED. NO PARTIAL AWARDS WILL BE MADE. Please acknowledge all requirements of the solicitation in the Bid. Contact information will be provided in the solicitation. The 55th Contracting Squadron will arrange an escort to provide transportation for the offeror to hand deliver the bid.
