Description

This is a Sources Sought Notice - Constitutes Market Research This Sources Source Notice is to seek out Interested Vendors identified as Service Disabled Veteran Owned (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB), all other Small Businesses interested in bidding on this requirement. If interested in bidding, vendors should notify the Contracting Officer by emailing Maria.Teodoro@va.gov by the due date indicated on the Sources Sought notice. This requirement is primarily for: Maintenance/repair of one cardboard bailer (VA owned) located in VA Mather Health Care System 10535 Hospital Way Mather CA 95655 Lease two 30 yard self-contained compactors, and one Cram-A-Lot-Cardboard bailer for VA Medical Center 150 Muir Road Martinez, CA 94553 One (1) set full-channel compactor guide/guard rails to protect concrete at loading dock. One (1) self -contained electrical/hydraulic unit to power ram for compacting trash This lease shall include quarterly, factory recommended preventative maintenance for the entire term of the lease. The Contractor shall furnish the labor, supervision, supplies, materials, equipment to maintain/repair the VA owned cardboard bailer. The proposed NAICS code is 532420 and small business size is $32.5 million. The VA intends to award a requirement type contract with firm-fixed prices for each category of waste being disposed for a base plus four option years. Period of Performance will begin on/about Oct 1, 2014. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. Responses to this sources sought notice should be emailed to Maria.Teodoro@va.gov on 31 Jul 2014 no later than 4 PM, Pacific Standard Time (PST).
