- The Army Contracting Command - Rock Island objective is to award a Firm-Fixed Price unfunded one-year requirements contract for ODOT approved aggregate stone products. Future orders will be place against funded delivery orders on an as-needed basis. The end user is the McAlester Army Ammunition Plant, OK. FOB Destination McAlester, OK. Aggregate shall originate from a site that is shown on the ODOT website page, quote mark Materials and Testing e-Guide - All Approved and Unexpired Aggregate/Stone Listings quote mark, or provide documentation from ODOT that the site is approved to supply the requested aggregate, per the ODOT specifications and testing. See http://www.okladot.state.ok.us/materials/htm-smap/11068-ALL.htm. The requirement is for a minimum quantity of ZERO (0) pounds and an estimated maximum quantity of 50,000 pounds of #4 Ballast, 90,000 pounds of Type quote mark A quote mark Base Course, 50,000 pounds of Screenings. The Type quote mark A quote mark Base Course material shall comply with the most current regulation/specification set forth by the Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT), Reference Section 703.01, Aggregate for Aggregate Base. The solicitation is unrestricted and not a set-aside. Approximate issue date for this solicitation is 8 August 2014 with an opening period of approximately 15 days from date of issue. The solicitation shall be issued via the Internet at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/ and http://www.fbo.gov. Any changes to the solicitation shall also be posted to the websites and is the contractor's responsibility to check these sites daily for any posted changes. All contractors who provide goods/services to the Department of Defense (DoD) must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). You may register via the Internet at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/ or contact the SAM Registration Assistance Center at 1-866-606-8220, customer service, and request the registration form and assistance packet for completion.
