- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number W912R1-14-T-STRONGBONDS is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-74, Effective 30 May 2014 and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS) Change Notice 20140528. It is the contractors' responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. This acquisition is reserved for a Small Business concerns; however, in the event that no Small Business concerns can meet the requirement, the set-aside will be withdrawn and an award will be made to a Large Business. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 721110 with a small business size standard of $30.0 million. This is a firm fixed price type contract for non-personal services to provide personnel, supervision, and any other items and services necessary for the required lodging, conference space, and meals for 4-7 September 2014 for approximately 120 people per the attached Statement of Work. Check in will be Friday, 4 September 2014, and checkout will be Sunday, 7 September 2014. Include a list of amenities and any areas of interest for the couples/singles attending the conference. Areas of interest may include those at the hotel or in a nearby local location. CLIN 0001 - Hotel Rooms - See PWS (Performance Work Statement) for explanation CLIN 0002 - Meals - See PWS for explanation CLIN 0003 - Audio/Visual - See PWS for explanation Quotes should be submitted with pricing according to each individual CLIN. As outlined above, and in the PWS, this solicitation is for lodging, meals, conference rooms, and audio visual to be located within Ocean City, MD. Please provide a cancellation policy; the Government needs to know a cancellation date that applies without penalty. The contract will be awarded to lowest priced technically acceptable. Technical acceptability is meeting all solicitation and performance work statement (PWS) requirements. A site visit to the hotel may be required prior to award. The Place of Performance will be the hotel provided in the selected offer.
