Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (I) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement and Free Trade Agreements. (II) Solicitation W564KV-14-R-0028, Miesau Upgrade Staging Facility, is issued as a Request for Quote. (III) This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses for commercial items in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-75 (IV) Due to the overseas location of this solicitation, no set-aside will be used. The NAICS code for this requirement is 238390 (V) A site visit for all interested vendors is schedule for 9:00 AM CET on 18 August 2014 at Miesau Army Depot. Vendors shall meet at the main gate guard station no later than 8:30 on the day of the site visit. Vendors who will be attending the site visit must notify Randy Fizer by email, randy.l.fizer.civ@mail.mil, or telephone, 49 (0) 6372-482-3784, no later than 2:00 PM CET on 15 August 2014. IAW FAR 52.237-1 Site Visit, Offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable.
