- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W912HZ-14-T-D001 and this solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The solicitation document, incorporated provisions, and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-74. The small business standard for the associated NAICS code is 333999 with a size standard of 500. The US Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), Vicksburg, Mississippi is soliciting proposals of companies to provide a quantity of one (1) each (EA), Centrifuge Floor Model to properly separate solids (such as soil and sediment) and liquids (such as water and solvents) for the Environmental Laboratory (EL), Environmental Processes and Engineering (EP-E) Division. The Contractor shall provide a Centrifuge Floor Model with the following description: Floor model Centrifuge maximum speed of 10,000 rpm Temperature control and refrigerated with temperatures ranging from -10 C to 40 C Biocontainment Swinging bucket rotor with maximum speed of 4,200 rpm, maximum capacity of 4-1000 mL samples, 4 buckets of 1000 mL, 4 lids for the 1000 mL bucket, and adapters for 500 and 250 mL samples Fixed angle rotor with a speed ranging from 3000 to a maximum speed of 10,000 rpm, and maximum capacity of 6-250 mL samples Delivery must be completed within 30 days after award to: SHIPPING/RECEIVING AREA 3909 HALLS FERRY RD VICKSBURG MS 39181-6199 All items shall include shipping costs FOB Destination to ERDC Vicksburg, MS. The contract will be awarded on a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) basis, considering past performance. The Government intends to award without discussions.
