- This contract action was not awarded as a fixed price type because uncertainties involved in contract performance did not permit costs to be estimated with sufficient accuracy to use any type of fixed price contract. This procurement is not governed by the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) rather in accordance with the applicable parts of the Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 3210.06 for Institutions for higher education and Non-Profit Organization.
