- Description
- The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to utilize other than full and open competition to award Lockheed Martin Corporation, 100 East 17th Street, Riviera Beach, FL 33404 a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) for the maintenance, sustainment, and integration supporting the existing Remote Multi-Mission Vehicles (RMMV). Lockheed Martin will provide RMMV related program management, engineering services, design, development, implementation, test & evaluation, configuration management, maintenance, repair, depot support, and modernization to support fleet introduction and integration with LCS Class ships. NAVSEA intends to award the BOA resulting from this synopsis on a sole-source basis, under authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, as Lockheed Martin is the only company that can meet the Navy's current technical and schedule requirement. Notice: The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested parties may respond to this synopsis with a letter of capability and interest, or may submit an unsolicited proposal. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals. However, all proposals received within fifteen days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
