Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network 11 Contracting Office, in accordance with FAR 6.302.1 (only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Varian Medical Systems of Des Plains, IL for Preventative Maintenance, Emergency Maintenance, and Repairs of True Beam Equipment located at the Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center, 1481 W 10th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46202. NAICS 811219 applies with the small business size standard of $20.5 Million. The Contractor shall provide all parts, materials, labor, supervision, test equipment, and proprietary software access keys necessary to perform these services for the period from beginning October 1, 2014 through September 30, 2015 with four (4) additional one (1) year options. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes/proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received no later than 4:00 pm EST, August 7, 2014. No telephone or email inquiries will be accepted. All responses must be emailed to Network 11 Contracting Office, Attn: Lisa Frymier, 8888 Keystone Crossing Blvd, Ste 1100, Indianapolis, IN 46240.
