- Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) is conducting a market survey to determine the availability and technical capability of qualified small businesses, including 8(a) small businesses, small disadvantaged businesses, woman-owned small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses or HUBZone small businesses capable of providing the following (new) Dot Hill Systems storage arrays, etc.: •PN: D4834CN72007BA: 4834, 2RM, 4GB, 12X6TB SAS, 7K,, AC, V2,DH - QUANTITY (2) EA •PN: D4134CN72007BA: 4134 2JM 12X6TB SAS 7K AC V2 DH - QUANTITY (2) EA •PN: DS-SS-2RAID-ADV: DH SUPPORT PLAN SECURE SITE RAID ADV EXCHANGE - QUANTITY (1) EA •PN: DS-SS-JBOD-ADV: DH SUPPORT PLAN SECURE SITE, JBOD, ADV EXCH - QUANTITY (2) EA •PN: P-ISCSI-001: DMS SW BUNDLE - QUANTITY (1) EA •PN: SW-DMS-R01-3K-M3: DOTHILL-BUNDLE DMS, 3-YEAR SUPPORT EXT, ASSURED SAN 3000/5000 - QUANTITY (1 EA) •PN: PFRUKK13: SFP+, 10GigE 3.3V 850nm LC Mod, 4 pk - QUANTITY (4) EA The SAN storage devices are needed to facilitate storage of mission critical data in the virtual server environment and to provide additional storage of this growing data. The lab has already researched and determined that the Dot Hill Systems storage arrays best fits the needs of the lab. Interested firms with the capability of providing the required service are requested to submit a capability statement to assist the Government in determining in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 19.502-2(b) whether or not this procurement will be set-aside for any of the programs described above. The intended procurement will be classified under North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code 334112 with a size standard of 1000 employees. All respondents are requested to identify their firm's size and type of business. Interested firms responding to this market survey must provide (a) capability statement demonstrating their experience, skills and capability to fulfill the Government's requirements for the above. The capability statement shall be in sufficient enough detail, so that the Government can determine the experience and capability of your firm to provide the products above. A copy of the capability statement must be received via email to robinsti@mail.nih.gov prior to 10:00 a.m. eastern standard time on August 7, 2014. Capability statement must reference solicitation# NICHD-14-063. Submission by email must also reference solicitation # NICHD-14-063 in the subject line of the email. Capability statement/responses by fax WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Any questions must be sent via email to robinsti@mail.nih.gov and must include solicitation# NICHD-14-063 in the subject line of email. Capability statements, etc will not be returned to firm/sender.
