Description
NFSR 471: Work will consist of removal and proper disposal of an existing wooden culvert at milepost 4.1 on Seventeen mile road, NFSR 471. Additionally, installation of a 48" CMP culvert with an alignment skewed to that of the alignment of the wood culvert is part of the work. The realigned culvert will discharge in a new location which will require excavator work to create a new channel and place rock to control grade as directed by the government. A dewatering plan will be required as the stream flows yearlong. The road surface will need to be repaired after earthwork is complete. Aggregate and Class 2 riprap for this project is government furnished at the 16 mile Pipe Creek pit approximately 6 miles from the project site. Class 4 riprap for this project is government furnished at the 4-Mile Pipe Creek pit approximately 17 miles from the project. NFSR 600: Work will consist of installation of a 57"x38" CMPA culvert.
