Description
This notice is being posted as an avenue to provide a Request for Quote, W912PM-14-T-0046. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.202(a) (13), exceptions to publicizing contract actions, there will not be a pre-solicitation notice posted for this required action. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information in this notice. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This solicitation is reserved exclusively for small business concerns. The solicitation number is W912PM-14-T-0046, and the solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The NAICS code is 238990 with a small business size standard of $15,000,000 million dollars. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-76, effective 25 July 2014. Description of Requirement: The Wilmington District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers requests the procurement, delivery, and installation of Force Protection Upgrades, E-1944 Exterior Physical Security Install. Furnish all labor, material, equipment, incidentals, supervision and transportation for work necessary to provide E-1944 Force Protection Upgrades. All work shall be performed in accordance with the contract specifications, manufacturer's recommendations, and state building codes. A site map has been provided, which identifies bollard and fencing locations. The Statement of Work is located below; please click on the quote mark link heading listed as Additional Documentation. Open ALL of the attached documents. All submittals for equivalent products will be evaluated per FAR 52.211-6. INVOICING: The contractor shall submit a copy of the invoice at the completion of all work. The invoice shall be submitted to Mr.William L. Adcock, email William.L.Adcock@usace.army.mil or mail to: 2-2414 Woodruff Street, Ft Bragg, North Carolina 28307-0069. The invoice shall have the correct contract number referenced, company name and address, Invoice number and date, and invoice line items. Notes: Small Business, Veteran Owned, 8A make a note on the Invoice as applicable. All costs, including delivery and installation, shall be included in the pricing of the quote. Evaluation Factors per FAR 52.212-2 This contract will be evaluated using lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) process. Technical acceptability will be evaluated in addition to price for this requirement. Quotes will be evaluated to determine technical acceptability in conformance with the solicitation prior to price evaluation.
