Description
THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. PLEASE READ THIS NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE PUBLISHED. The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) intends to negotiate a one-time HUBZone sole source contract with BitSec Forensics, Inc., 136 State Street, Suite 210, Augusta, ME 04330-7408. The Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-5. The SEC's ENF IT Forensic Lab requires forensic investigator software to enforce compliance with federal securities laws. The Nuix Investigator software provided by BitSec Forensics is a suite of tools that enable investigators to triage, process and analyze electronic evidence in multiple computers, mobile devices and digital storage media, and extract and correlate intelligence. The Nuix Investigator Suite includes the following: • Nuix Workstation • Nuix Investigator Lab • Nuix Investigator Reviewer Nuix Investigator provides a platform for solving a broad and growing range of unstructured data challenges. Nuix can process, search and analyze the largest and most complex human-generated and machine data sets faster, deeper and more reliable than other technology on the market. Nuix will allow ENF ITFL analyst to use scripting and integration with third party tools to analyze an entire case from within Nuix Investigator interface. The investigator tools and investigative lab methodology make it possible to parcel out evidence to analyst and/or reviewers, and then bring everything back together to be analyzed, cross-referenced and reported on. Nuix Investigator Workstation empowers investigators ingest terabytes of evidence per day and make it available for timely analysis. On a single, high-end Workstation Nuix can thoroughly process and index more than one terabyte of forensic images per day, making it a superior alternative to legacy computer forensic applications.
