- Sole Source Intent. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command - Yuma Proving Ground, intends to negotiate a firm-fixed price contract on a sole source basis with Union Pacific Railroad Company, Inc. located at 1400 Douglas St Stop 1230 Omaha, NE 68179-0001. The U.S. Army Proving Ground (USAYPG) has a requirement for F6435 MMPV Type II RG31A2Rail Impact Testing. Union Pacific Railroad Company Inc. is the only service provider in Yuma that can meet the testing requirements which makes them a sole source entity. Award of this requirement will be in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 and 13. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirements or submit proposals. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. If you feel that your firm possesses the ability to provide these requirements, then you must respond by demonstrating your firm's technical capability to meet these requirements by 06 August 2014 10:00 AM MST. All inquiries shall be clearly marked with solicitation W9124R-14-T-0163 and emailed to latasha.a.isaac.civ@mail.mil or by facsimile to 928-328-6849. In order to protect propriety information and prevent the unintentional releasing of guarded information, all interested firms must conduct their own research regarding the specifications of the above listed items.
