- Project Description: Includes cutting and slashing along with lop and scatter of live coniferous trees on approximately 220 acres located in portions of sections 31 and 32, T11N, R9E PMM in the foothills of the Little Belt Mountains East of White Sulphur Springs, MT. The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies and incidentals required to perform and complete these services. The project will include cutting and slashing live conifer trees taller than 18 inches. In addition, all cut material shall be treated so that no single piece is longer than 7 feet and accumulated slash depth is 18 inches or less. The number of trees per acre to be cut varies considerably but averages approximately 20-40 across the project. The project site consists of slopes that vary from 0% to 20%. Vehicular access to the project area is available (4WD may be required). Contract is to be completed by September 1, 2015. Work will not be permitted between October 25 and November 30, 2014. A site tour has been schedule: interested quoters are encouraged to inspect the site where services are to be performed. Callers will be asked to submit their questions via email. This project is a small business set-aside. Offerors are required to have an active SAM (System for Acquisition Management at www.sam.gov) registration by this solicitations closing date to be eligible for award.
