Description
NOTICE OF PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTION (NOPCA). The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division (CCSD), Contracting Office (HNCK), Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA)-Lackland TX, intends to award, on a sole source basis, a Fixed Price Requirements contract, to provide telephone technical support and troubleshooting advice for the KSV-5 (USB ENTR) when issues with the equipment arise, to L-3 Communications Corporation, Telemetry-West, 9020 Balboa Avenue, San Diego, CA, 92123-1510, Cage code: 9U244. Services include, but limited to, troubleshooting in-house and in-theater issues, conduct lengthy and complex research issues, provide timely and successful telephone support, perform research projects, resolve questions, provide technical support, research software and hardware problems and provide feedback to the program. The proposed contract action is for the purchase of these services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source IAW 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 13.106(b), only one responsible source (except brand name). The Government intends to make an award in September 2014. No technical data/drawings/technical orders are available. If a firm believes it is capable of meeting the Government's requirements, it may identify its interest and capability to the Contract Specialist within ten (10) days of this publication. Interested firms must indicate whether they are large, small, any socio-economic classifications, and whether they are U.S. or foreign owned.
