- PR 31-10-14027 Request for Quote PR 31-10-14027 Statement of Work The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) has a requirement to organize, host, and document three separate transportation policy workshops that engage industry leaders and key members of the transportation community in a discussion of emerging transportation issues. The desired outcome of this work is insight on emerging issues to inform transportation planning and policy decisions. Of particular interest are ideas and information on potential scenarios, policy issues and opportunities, and current innovative thinking regarding specific transportation topics. This will serve as a resource for the transportation community and the FHWA in developing and prioritizing policy and program needs. It is anticipated that the resulting award will be a Firm-Fixed-Price Purchase Order, and will be unrestricted. The request for quote and applicable statement of work is attached to this notice. As indicated in the Request for Quote (RFQ), your firm's quotation must be received by email to Orlando.Whitaker@dot.gov no later than 1:00 p.m., Eastern Time, on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 or sooner. The solicitation, all related documents and amendments, if any, will only be released and available electronically through the Federal Business Opportunities posting system at https://www.fbo.gov/ under the Vendors option by selecting "Department of Transportation." As such, no written, telephonic, facsimile or email requests for the solicitation package will be honored. Interested parties are encouraged to register at the aforementioned site to receive procurement announcements by email. Since the solicitation will only be available electronically, it is solely the responsibility of interested parties to monitor the listed website for the solicitation and all related documents and amendments, if any.
