- Description
- Vicksburg District Corps of Engineers requires the acquisition of a Firm-Fixed-Price contract to provide all personnel, supervision, and services necessary to provide security guard service to the Vicksburg District (MVK) and the Mississippi Valley Division Headquarters (HQMVD). The contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, supervision, other items and services necessary to satisfactorily perform Security Guard services as defined in the Statement of Work at the designated facilities within the Vicksburg District's boundaries or area of responsibility (AOR). Contract will be for a period of 5 years (1 Base year with 4 option years). The solicitation will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities (Fed Biz Opps) Web Page at http://www.fbo.gov/ on or about 6 August 2014 with a response date of 5 September 2014. For this procurement, it has been determined that competition will be limited to 8(a) firms with SBA approved offices with the applicable NAICS code (561612) located within Region 4-MS, TN, AL, GA, FL (N&S), SC, NC, and KY which have the above-assigned primary NAICS code. All other firms are deemed ineligible to submit offers. Bidders should check the Fed Biz Opps Web Page often for new solicitations and/or changes (AMENDMENTS) to existing ones.
