- This publication satisfies the requirement at FAR Part 5 and constitutes the Government's Notice of Intent to extend Contract Number W9124J-13-C-0004 for a period up to six months beginning on 1 Jun 2015 on a non-competitive basis. This extension will be accomplished under the authority of FAR Clause 52.217-8, Extension of Services, on a sole source basis, as authorized by FAR Part 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command at Fort Riley, KS intends to extend contract W9124J-13-C-0004 with Alog Corporation, 3077 Leeman Ferry Road SW B-6, Huntsville, AL 35801, on a sole source basis, for Logistics Support Services in support of the Logistics Readiness Center at Fort Riley, KS. The period of performance for this extended period is 1 Jun 2015 through 30 Nov 2015. Support functions include Hazardous Materials Management Program (HMMP), Bulk Fuel, Class IIIP Storage & Warehousing, Installation Consolidated Property Book Office (ICPBO), Troop Issue Subsistence Activity (TISA), and Transportation, to include Personal Property, Freight, Unit Movement and Transportation Motor Pool (TMP). This extension is necessary to allow for a competitive follow-on task order to be awarded by the Army Sustainment Command under the Enhanced Army Global Logistics Enterprise (EAGLE) Program. The estimated value of this extension is $ 2,194,501.68 Scope of Work: The Contractor shall provide personnel, management, and any other items and services not Government furnished necessary to perform the installation level logistics support function to individual soldiers, Department Of Defense (DOD) civilian employees, installation and tenant activities, and military units assigned to, mobilizing or demobilizing at Fort Riley, Kansas and AR 5-9 units, during peace or war, as defined in this work statement. Support functions include Hazardous Materials Management Program (HMMP), Bulk Fuel, Class IIIP Storage & Warehousing, Installation Consolidated Property Book Office (ICPBO), Troop Issue Subsistence Activity (TISA), and Transportation, to include Personal Property, Freight, Unit Movement and Transportation Motor Pool (TMP). Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. In doing so, interested sources must submit technical capabilities, pricing, and other information that demonstrates their ability to meet the Governments needs no later than the 15th day after this notice is posted. Detailed capabilities must be submitted to MICC Fort Riley; ATTN: Kelly Wright; 1792 12th Street; Fort Riley, KS 66442. This synopsis is not considered a request for bid/quote/proposal. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests for technical information will not be honored. No contract will be awarded on a basis of offers received in response to this notice, but offers will be used to determine if a comparable source is available and more advantageous to the Government.
