This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation F7H1ST3178A008 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This procurement is being solicited under NAICS code 334519 and Small Business size standard is 500. Purchase and delivery of the following items no later than 30 Days ARO FOB Destination: CLIN 0001: Tactical Atmospheric Sounding Kit (TASK), (Qty 3 EA) Tactical Atmospheric Sounding Kit (TASK) enables forward deployed personnel to observe and report real-time weather data and winds aloft information for weather forecasting or tactical weather dependent missions such as artillery support, aerial delivery, or embarked air cavalry operations. The TASK system continuously measures wind speed, wind direction, pressure, temperature and humidity while ascending through the air column on a six cubic foot weather balloon (about 32 inch diameter). TASK consists of a lightweight TASK UHF Radiosonde, a small composite tank of pressurized helium, an inflatable 30 gram weather balloon, and a wearable TASK UHF Transceiver.
