- The Contractor shall provide labor and support to the communications function of the COPS Office to include developing a social media assessment report, and recommend an agency wide strategy, policies and procedures for the Office to implement. The purpose of this task is the establishment of a comprehensive social media plan that is aligned to the COPS Office strategic plan. I. Developing an Assessment Report/Strategy Draft • Review existing DOJ rules/policies to establish benchmark for social media recommendations • Conduct interviews with key stake holders within COPS Office to determine communication strategy goals • Compile findings to construct a social media plan/strategy II. Create Final Social Media Strategy • Review feedback and make edits/changes accordingly • Provide a strategy for monitoring and evaluation of the COPPS (Citizens, Objectives, Plan, Policy, Schedule)program method • Design overall branding strategy • Develop presentation to Executive Staff of agency • Develop/Conduct training as needed for COPS Office communication staff Deliverables The deliverables produced by the Contractor shall include the following: • Draft assessment report, strategy statement and phased roadmap (week 4) • Develop final social media strategy and implementation plan (week 8) • Create branding strategy for COPS Office social media (week 8) • Presentation to Executive Staff (week 12) All deliverables are to be provided in Word,.pdf and PowerPoint formats.
