- Description
- Provide home oxygen delivery to eligible beneficiaries within the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center System (VAMHCS), Baltimore and Perry Point, MD. Area of delivery covers counties in MD and PA. This will include storage, rental, delivery, set-up, adjustment, patient/caregiver instructions, service of oxygen, oxygen equipment, supplies, recovery of equipment, and related services to the home/residence of eligible beneficiaries as ordered by the VA. Home Oxygen delivery and set-up shall be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including holidays. The contractor must be Joint Commission (JC) accredited for Home Care or equivalent accredited standard and must maintain the certification or equivalent accredited standard for the duration of the contract. The Contractor shall have a physical location, prior to the award of this contract, which houses the service office, warehouse, dispatch of vehicles and other functions related to the performance of services within VAMHCS catchments. Catchments include: Maryland: Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Baltimore City, Caroline, Carroll, Cecil, Dorchester, Harford, Howard, Kent, Queen Anne, Somerset, Talbot, Wicomico, Worchester, and Pennsylvania: New Freedom, Oxford, Nottingham, and Shrewsbury. The NAICS Code for this requirement is 532291 Home Health Equipment Rental with a size standard of $30 M. This acquisition is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. A Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity type contract with a one (1) year base period and up to four (4) one (1) year option periods, to be exercised at the Government's discretion is contemplated under this solicitation. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 15 Contracting by Negotiation. Offerors' are advised that they are responsible for obtaining any amendments to the solicitation. The VA will not provide hard copies of the solicitation.
