****************The purpose of this modificaiton is to extend the comments due date for the draft RFP Section C and on the FAQ sheet from 12pm EST August 8, 2014 to Wednesday August 13, 2014 by 12pm ***************************** The purpose of this amendment to Sources Sought # QTA00NR14TSI4002 (posted previously on FedBizOpps on December 12, 2013) is to attach the Northeast Infrastructure Solutions (NIS) draft Statement of Work- Section C of the RFP. Also included in this sources sought amendment will be a Regional Infrastructure Solution (RIS) Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) sheet and a document containing the Small Business Partial Set-Aside CLINs being considered for the NIS Procurement. With reference to the draft Statement of Work- Section C and the SB Partial Set-Aside CLINS’s being considered, please note the following, in accordance with FAR 15.209(c) and 52.215-3: THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT AND THE GOVERNMENT IS NOT ACCEPTING PROPOSALS AT THIS TIME. THE GOVERNMENT DOES NOT INTEND TO AWARD A CONTRACT ON THE BASIS OF THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE OR OTHERWISE PAY FOR THE INFORMATION SOLICITED. THE INFORMATION WILL BE USED BY THE GOVERNMENT AS MARKET RESEARCH, FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES AND TO MAKE APPROPRIATE ACQUISITION DECISIONS. The Northeast Infrastructure Solution (NIS) is part of the Regional Infrastructure Solution (RIS) project that consists of three multi-regional acquisitions: Northeast Infrastructure Solutions (NIS), Central Infrastructure Solutions (CIS), and Western Infrastructure Solutions (WIS). Comments on the draft RFP Section C and on the FAQ sheet are due by 12pm EST August 8, 2014. Comments are only accepted in writing to email address: nis.sources-sought.comments@gsa.gov If the Government deems it necessary to respond to comments received, responses will only be publically posted on FedBizOpps. It is the Government’s intent to post the final RFP for the Northeast Infrastructure Solution (NIS) during the 1 st Quarter of FY2015.
