- 14T0279_sol This synopsis is being posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov. FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet. Please feel free to use the FBO site to access information posted by NSWC Crane. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division has a requirement for commercially available various rechargeable batteries. This contract will cover a three-year period and will be issued as a firm fixed-price, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Delivery Quantity contract. The solicitation will be issued for Brand Name Only on (Concorde R1234), (Yuasa NP7-12FR), (Saft NICD 410907-060), (SAFT 409695-101), and Brand Name or Equal Requirements for (Werker WKA12-7.5F2 or Equivalent) and (Werker WKA12-18NB or Equivalent). A list of the battery salient characteristics will be available when the RFP is issued. The minimum award amount is $10,000 and the maximum of $355,900 over a three year period. Delivery will be required FOB destination to NSWC Crane with inspection and acceptance at destination. The delivery schedule will be available when the RFP is issued This procurement is for brand name items and brand name or equal items and is being procured using full and open competition and commercial procedures in accordance with FAR 13.5 Test program. All responsible sources may submit an offer that will be considered. The Contractor must be properly registered in the Government System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed. All responsible sources may submit an offer that will be considered by the agency. Each interested vendor is responsible and shall monitor the FBO website for amendments that may be issued to this solicitation. Offers must be submitted in the format specified in the solicitation. It is the responsibility of the offeror to submit offers to the Point of Contact (POC) at NSWC Crane. This notice is a synopsis and does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) and it is not a commitment by the U.S. Navy to procure subject items.
