- M67854-14-I-5026 Amendment 01 General Purpose Automatic Test System (GPATS) Modernization Industry Day Announcement 21 August 2014 The purpose of this notice is to announce Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC), Product Manager (PdM) Test, Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) plan to host a GPATS Modernization Industry Day on 21 August, 2014 from 1000 to 1500 (PST). Participants will have the opportunity to access the field level intermediate maintenance facility located at the Reparable Management Company at Camp Pendleton, CA. Access will include the observation of the maintenance shop environment and the AN/USM-657B Third Echelon Test System with a test program set connected. Interested vendors who respond to this notice will be scheduled for a 30 minute appointment time period. Due to the limited facility capacity, the number of attendees is limited to four (4) persons per company. Depending on the number of responses, PdM TMDE may assign more than one company to the same time slot. Vendors who desire to participate in the GPATS Modernization Industry Day must submit their responses by 1300 (EST) on 15 August 2014. Appointment times will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. PdM TMDE will notify vendors of assigned appointment time periods as requests are received, and all registration confirmation emails will be issued by PdM TMDE no later than 18 August 2014. Location address details will be included in the registration confirmation emails. Only e-mail registration will be accepted. The following information is required when registering: •Company name and location •Number of participants •Representative(s) first and last name(s) •Representative(s) Phone number and e-mail address No government briefs will be provided and vendors must submit all questions from the industry day in writing via email to Ms. Kathleen (Ruscio) Ruyle at kathleen.ruscio@usmc.mil no later than 28 August 2014 at 1500 (EST). This is not a RFP/Solicitation and no contract will be awarded from this industry day. Only a contracting officer pursuant to the authority granted in his/her warrant may bind the government in a contract. Vendors are responsible for any and all costs incurred by attendees or for preparations, marketing efforts, or travel expenses to Camp Pendleton, and none of these costs are reimbursable by the Government. Responses to the industry day are strictly voluntary and will be used solely for market research to determine the current performance of general purpose automatic test systems, their availability, associated recurring and non-recurring costs of those systems, sustainment requirements, and the presence of competition. The requested information is for planning purposes only and does not constitute a commitment, implied or otherwise, that a procurement action will be issued.
