Description

The procurement is a sole source award for Annual Accreditation Compliance Fees for Gulfport, MS and Washington, DC Campuses. The award will be issued to: Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) 6951 E. Southpoint Road Tucson, AZ 85756-9407 JUSTIFICATION FOR OTHER THAN FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION DESCRIPTION OF PROGRAM: Responses must be received by COB on August 13, 2014. 1. CONTRACTING AGENCY: Bureau of the Fiscal Service for Armed Forces Retirement Home (AFRH). 2. DESCRIPTION OF ACTION: CARF Annual Conformanc Fees 3. AUTHORITY CITED: this action is authorized under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. 4. REASON FOR AUTHORIY CITED: The AFRH has a continuing need for CARF-CCAC Accreditation. Legislation requires the AFRH to secure and maintain accreditation by a nationally recognized civilian accreding organization per U.S. Code Title 24, Chapter 10, Subchapter I,411(g).
