- The Contracting Department, NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, VA, 23511-3392 intends to negotiate a firm fixed price contract for washer and dryer repair services utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the test program for commercial items and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. Commander Navy Region Mid Atlantic s (CNRMA) Regional Bachelor Housing requires washer and dryer repair services at the following locations: Dam Neck Annex, Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Northwest Annex, Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek Fort Story, NAS Oceana, Naval Station Norfolk, NWS Yorktown, and Naval Medical Center Portsmouth in the Hampton Roads, VA area. A Contractor is required to provide all personnel, equipment, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and all other items and services necessary to perform washer and dryer repair services as required by CNRMA. FLC Norfolk intends to issue a solicitation with small business set-aside. The period of performance consists of a base period of one year with four one-year option periods, with the option to extend services in accordance with FAR clause 52.217-8. The anticipated award date is on or about 26 September 2014. The requirement will be 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The NAICS code applicable to this procurement is 811412. The size standard is $14.0M. The RFQ, any documents related to this procurement, and all amendments issued will be in electronic form. THE RFQ IS NOT YET AVAILABLE. Once available, the RFQ will be posted to this site. The RFQ will be available on or about 14 August 2014. The NECO website has a submit bid button next to the solicitation number. DO NOT use the submit bid button on NECO to submit your quotation. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the Government. By submitting a quote, the offeror will be self-certifying that neither the principal corporate officials nor owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal Agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. The Contracting Officer reserves the right to conduct verbal or written discussions with respect to other than price with the offerors at anytime prior to award. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) Registration database prior to invoicing of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for award to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States.
