Description

Sources Sought The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 22, Network Contracting Office, intends to release a solicitation under FAR Part 13 to acquire service, preventive maintenance and general maintenance of Government owned 3500XL Genetic Analyzer. The Genetic analyzer is manufactured by Applied Biosystems. Contractor shall have the ability to procure parts from manufacturer and non-manufacturer parts will NOT be accepted. Contractor personnel must possess experience and proper certification from manufacturer to perform services of this equipment located at VA San Diego Healthcare System, 3350 La Jolla Village Drive, San Diego, CA 92161. Interested parties must submit an unclassified Statement of Capability (SOC) demonstrating capability of services required and whether they can provide these services under GSA schedule or open market. This notice does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ). Information herein is based on the best information available at the time of publication, is subject to revision, and is not binding on the Government. The Government will not recognize any cost associated with the submission of a SOC. Submit all responses not later than 11:00 a.m. Pacific Standard Time on August 14, 2014 to the attention of Edgar Alvizar at edgar.alvizar@va.gov with "Interested Contractor - Maintenance Service Contract for Genetic Analyzer" on the subject line. Telephone responses shall NOT be accepted.
